What is the difference between a PCC and an MCC panel?
A Power Control Centre distributes incoming power from the utility, DG or solar source to downstream loads, with protection and interlocking between sources. A Motor Control Centre sits further downstream and specifically starts, protects and controls motors. A plant usually needs both.
What is the maximum current rating you build PCC panels to?
Up to 6300 A, in a two-tier ACB arrangement, with aluminium or copper busbars.
Can one PCC handle utility, DG and solar incomers together?
Yes. We build multiple utility and DG incomers with provision for a solar incomer, with mechanical and electrical interlocks between them and manual or automatic operation.
Are your PCC panels type tested?
Our design is total type tested under IEC 61439 at CPRI Bhopal at 4000 A with 50 kA for one second short-circuit withstand and IP 55 protection, using Schneider switchgear.
