- What is the difference between a PCC and an MCC panel?
- A Power Control Centre distributes incoming power from the utility, DG or solar source to downstream loads, with protection and interlocking between sources. A Motor Control Centre sits further downstream and specifically starts, protects and controls motors. A plant usually needs both.
- What is the maximum current rating you build PCC panels to?
- Up to 6300 A, in a two-tier ACB arrangement, with aluminium or copper busbars.
- Can one PCC handle utility, DG and solar incomers together?
- Yes. We build multiple utility and DG incomers with provision for a solar incomer, with mechanical and electrical interlocks between them and manual or automatic operation.
- Are your PCC panels type tested?
- Our design is total type tested under IEC 61439 at CPRI Bhopal at 4000 A with 50 kA for one second short-circuit withstand and IP 55 protection, using Schneider switchgear.
